Forget spiked seltzer; 2023 is going to be the year of spiked tea brands going mainstream. While it seems like a new brand launched every month in 2022, a few spiked tea brands are far better than the rest.

It doesn’t get more refreshing than spiked and sparkling. And with a hint of botanicals, this boozy tea is perfect for summertime sipping.

One of the best things about Owl’s Brew’s boozy teas is that each is made with 100% natural ingredients. There are no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. And for vegans, it contains no natural flavors since natural flavors commonly have animal byproducts. It is also paraben-free, so you can feel good about your drinking.

Our favorite flavor is Jasmine, Blueberry, & Lemon, but there are other vibrant flavors, including Spiced Chai Cranberry Darjeeling Tea & Hibiscus Flowers, and White Tea, Raspberry, & Watermelon. You could sip it as is, or you could add it to a Moscow Mule or a glass of Prosecco for an extra special treat.

This sparkling iced tea can be found on the Owl’s Brew website, where they ship to 28 different states. You can also order their boozy tea it via Instacart or find it at most Bevmo! And Total Wine locations.

This Italian iced tea from Bully Boy Distillers is an absolute must-try. It’s made with a blend of Bully Boy Amaro, citrus, and black tea, which gives it a unique flavor, unlike any other boozy iced tea we’ve tried.

Out of all the tea cocktails on this list, it’s also one of the booziest. Thanks to the added Amaro, this iced tea is about as strong as an IPA at 7% ABV.

If you want to make this a nice afternoon cocktail, mix it with some seltzer, a sprig of mint, and a slice of lemon. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, use it as the base for an Amaro or apéritif-based cocktail.

Bully Boy Italian Iced Tea is available online and at most liquor stores in Massachusetts, the distiller’s home state. However, it will be hard to find it on the west coast. The best way to find out whether or not you can order this seltzer to your zip code is to try to order it on their website.

This summertime boozy tea is a collaboration between Narragansett Beer Co. and Del’s Lemonade, two Rhode Island staples. The tea is brewed with a Narragansett lager and blended with Del’s delicious lemon concentrate.

It’s a slightly carbonated, malt-based tea cocktail that is available in one classic flavor: iced tea and lemonade. This perfect amount of fizz adds bubbles and balances the sweetness, making it refreshingly different from ordinary complex teas.

It is not for sale on the Narragansett website, nor is it available on Del’s Lemonade site. But you can order it online through Half Time Beverage and Total Wine or via delivery with Drizly. All you have to do is verify that they can ship to your zip code.

Two Chicks Sparkling Vodka Cutea

Much like Owl’s Brew, Two Chicks makes canned cocktails in trendy cans with uncanny flavors like Cranberry Tartini and Sparkling Apple Gimlet.

But the company’s Vodka Cutea is a standout cocktail from their incredible beverage portfolio. This vodka-based refreshment enhances sweet peach with a light cucumber tea infusion and a delicate hint of thyme.

Sound like the perfect summer sipper? We know.

It’s also critically acclaimed, receiving awards from USA Today and the Beverage Testing Institute.

On their website, they have a store locator that will tell you whether or not you can find them locally–they are available in most major cities. You can order them from Bevmo! or Total Wine’s website if they aren’t available nearby.

The Pequot Inn in Fishers Island, New York, serves the Fishers Island Lemonade as its signature drink. But since its creation, the brand began to package and commercialize them. The company’s boozy tea is among a few new canned cocktails, including Pink Flamingo, Fizz, and traditional spiked lemonade.

These gluten-free spiked tea and lemonade cocktails from Fishers Island are spiked with the Fishers Island unique half-and-half mix of barrel-aged whiskey and corn-based vodka that gives it a remarkable flavor and a powerful punch.

If you want to get your hands on some of these delicious cocktails, the best place to get them is on the east coast. But if you’re elsewhere in the country, you can order them on the Fishers Island website or through Total Wine.

Another clean, trendy, and creative canned cocktail that represents Millennials and Gen Zers perfectly, Loverboy makes spiked teas and cocktails to die for.

Among the brand’s four flavor offerings–White Tea Peach, Strawberry Lemonade Green Tea, Lemon Iced Tea, and Hibiscus Lime–the clear standout was the peach-flavored masterpiece.

And at 90 calories and zero grams of sugar per can, it’s a guilt-free summer cocktail that won’t ruin your bod!

For an added twist, we recommend mixing it in a gin or Aperol-based cocktail.

Noveltea Alcoholic Tea

Noveltea is a British company that makes alcoholic tea infusions. And we’re not talking about adding a vodka to your Earl Grey–these are authentic, delicious cocktails made with cold-brewed tea as the base.

The company’s two offerings are The Tale of Earl Grey, an Earl Grey-infused gin, and The Tale of Tangier, a Moroccan mint green tea-infused rum.

If you want to try these rare yet delightful boozy teas, the best place to find them is in the United Kingdom. But if you’re in the States, you can order them from a few select retailers at a major upcharge.
